Nestled deep in the King Country Outback is our authentic riverside cabin with log fire,
hot shower, flush toilet and bbq area. In addition to the main cabin we also have 3 separate sleep-outs. 2 single bed units and one double unit with ensuite.

Access to camp is provided by 4x4 Suzuki Jeeps. Your Driver/Guides will ensure you safe passsage on this
15km forested trail. Taking around 90 minutes, the journey takes in views of North Island Central Plateau, Mt Ruapehu,
Mt Ngauruhoe and the sacred mountain of the Tuwharetoa people, Mt Tongariro.
Our personally designed bbq and breakfast bar has the Whanganui river flowing meters below which makes for
outdoor dining with a difference.
We have a fully catered option, or guests are welcome to provide and cook their own meals.
The Central Plateau has one of the highest population of endangered 'Whio whio' (Blue ducks) in New Zealand.
These feathered guardians are a sign of a quality river system. This pair often join us for breakfast, below the cabin.
